Dual-Row LED Ring — Even Brighter
The high-brightness white LED proven in the Simple-5 is now arranged in two rows — 54 LEDs vs. 24 in Simple-5. This delivers over 50,000 lux of illumination, and the extra brightness makes filter work with optional color filters comfortable and effective.
Vertical Illuminator Unit — Illuminates Further
The newly designed vertical illuminator unit directs light deep into areas that are difficult to illuminate with a conventional ring light alone. Three high-brightness LEDs provide ample light output. The unit can be detached when not needed.
The vertical illuminator is positioned in the gap of the optical path between the left and right objective lenses. The position is determined based on independent optical analysis of major stereo microscope brands including Nikon, Olympus, Leica and Zeiss, minimizing interference with the field of view.
Options
Optional filters help adapt WE-PLUS to different observation conditions and sample types.
Filters
Protective (WP-CF), diffuser (WP-RS), warm (WP-WF), red (WP-AF) and blue (WP-BF) filters are available. Warm filter changes color temperature from approx. 8,000 K to approx. 5,000 K.
Vertical Illuminator — Long Type
A long-type vertical illuminator unit (WV-LONG) is available for samples requiring a longer working distance between the ring light and the observation surface.
Installation to Microscope
WE-PLUS can be attached directly with three screws when the target mounting diameter is within Φ40 mm to Φ61 mm. For selected microscope models or specific mounting configurations, an optional attachment adapter may be required.
Direct attachment with three screws
WE-PLUS is designed for direct attachment when the target mounting diameter is within the Φ40 mm to Φ61 mm range.
If the microscope has a different mounting diameter or a body shape that does not allow direct screw attachment, use the appropriate optional adapter.
