IR Cut Contrast Filter

IR cut filter for fluorescence gel imaging, designed to suppress infrared background and improve contrast.

attenuates infrared wavelengths from 650 to 1100 nm Long-exposure imaging can introduce unwanted background glow, often caused by infrared emission from fluorescent lamps in transilluminators. The MFC65-52 filter suppresses this interference and helps produce clearer, higher-contrast fluorescence images.

Compared to standard short-pass filters, MF-SC55D provides sharper cutoff below 550 nm while allowing higher transmission above 560 nm.
