While they are not a perfect one-to-one replacement for the wire-grid polarizers, they can serve as a practical successor for applications within the NIR wavelength range.

Aluminum wire grid structure brings a high polarization separation performance in a wide range of wavelength from visible to IR (or longer) using metal nanowires. Furthermore, it has superior heat resistance compared to a general absorptive polarizer and suitable for to various applications including automotive to industrial use.

Application of Wire Grid Polarizing Film

	■ PBS (Polarizing Beam Splitter) An optical component consisting of a Wire Grid Polarizer sandwiched between prisms, widely used in AR-glass that uses LCOS.
	■ Framed filter Attachment of Wire Grid Polarizer on the glass to the frame. It can be attached to sensors and other devices.
