  @AR (anti-reflection) basic mechanism - how it works

The multi-layered, dielectric coating of base film would make two
reflected waves interfere with each other, eliminating reflection as a result.

Got claims from neighbors for light reflection off of your large window ?
Unable to see through inside the show window at certain time of the day ?@
In such cases, AR film is perfect solution. Apply AR Film on both side of window
and eliminate the reflection !







  @AR film only on one side ? or on both side ?

š Apply AR film on both sides for full effect
Light reflects both on the front and the reverse side of glass surface.
Reflections are approximately 4-5% each side, making total reflection of about 10%.
AR film reduces reflection down to approximately 0.5% on each side and therefore applying film on both side would reduce total reflection down to less than 1% (1/10). 
* Applying on only one side leaves out 5.5% reflection so please apply on both side.
Front reflect Back reflect Total reflect
No AR film 5.0 % + 5.0 % = 10.0 %
AR film on front side only 0.5 % + 5.0 % = 5.5 %
AR film on both side 0.5 % + 0.5 % = 1.0 %
 


  @Not effective for Double/Triple glazed (pane) glass
Multi-layered glass (double/triple pane glass) requires film to be applied on all surfaces.
For instances, double pane glass requires AR film to be applied on all 4 surfaces.
It is not practical and we do not recommend using AR film on these glass.

 
 


  @LCD displays (PC/TV/smartphone) need film only on monitor surface
Light reflection occurs at boundary of 2 substances that have differences in material density, such as glass and air. When back side is filled with adhesive and there is no air space in between like a LCD monitor or mobile, applying AR film only on the front surface
should produce sufficient result.
(* result may vary depending on the device and model).


  @AGAR Film (Anti-Glare and Anti-reflective)
AGAR (anti-glare and anti-reflective) film for smart devices and other LCD displays.
In addition to multi-layered AR, AGAR film has its surface diffusion processed,
making it capable to eliminate highlights that can not be completely put out only by AR. @
Because of this diffusion treatment, objects will look blurry when it is placed more than
10mm behind the glass and is not ideal to be used for show windows or show case.
AGAR film is effective only for LCD monitor, picture frame and such that there is no gap
(air space) behind the glass.
(* Low price Anti-glare film widely used for mobile devices
often only have AG treatment and not AR)

  @For Outdoor Use

Select ones with gOutdoor Purposeh mentioned in the item description for outdoor use.
Ones without it are basically designed to be used for indoor and may have shorter replacement period depending on the environment in which AR film/acrylic are exposed to.
(Susceptible to harsh weather conditions such as rain, storm and strong UV)
It is recommended to use outdoor purpose AR film on outside surface of store windows.
(Normal AR film can be used for inside since UV is blocked by film on outside and glass)
* Durability depends entirely on the environment to which film is exposed to
and we are unable to provide guideline for replacement timing.
* Double/Triple page (glazed) glass requires AR film to be applied on every surfaces.
Applying only on 2 surfaces (outside/inside) and leaving surfaces in between would
substantially reduces effectiveness and we do not recommend using film for these.
